We think this is the best flooring for your money. The floor will have to be professionally sanded and finished unless you follow our DIY “rustic buffer method.”
Rustic Buffer Method
- Bevel floor edges and install.
- Fill knot holes.
- Palm sand knots with 60 grit.
- Buff Floor w 80 grit. Preferably a planetary attachment.
- Buff Floor w 100 grit.
- Wateer Pop
- Buff with 120 grit.
- You be able to put down any stain or finish and have a rustic floor.
This floor is not for everyone but if you are looking for a simple DIY solid hardwood floor that looks amazing is affordable this is one of the nicer floors you can do.
